CASE STUDY - CROSSWAYS
A space to unwind
A space to unwind
Working closely with the client’s needs and budget, three concept designs were considered for this blank canvas before settling on a final design.
The Project
The entire space was in real need of some visual interest as well as practical requirements such as a larger patio, pathway to the gate and garage as well as screening off the area behind the garage.
The design of this garden incorporated just that and provided a patio to accommodate table and chairs, a secondary lower paved area with an architectural timber pergola which, once a canopy was attached, gave welcoming shade on those sunny days.
Raised sleeper boarders were introduced which offered some needed structure within this garden and once planted, gave a cosy feel to the sunken paved area.
The paving scheme for this garden incorporated contrasting colours of porcelain paving, the darker of the two defining the paved areas and step edges.
Horizontal timber cladding provided the screening from the utility area behind the garage and once all structural work was completed the lawn area was then levelled, fresh screened topsoil added, and new lawn laid to top off this project.

Customer Feedback
We were fully involved in the planning and design and Dale was always prepared to change elements of the design as we came up with new ideas of how we wanted to use the space.
We now have a fantastic outside space that we spend time in on most days during the summer months.
I would recommend Dale to anyone looking to have a new outside space that is designed to suit their needs.
